The sun was shining and it was a beautiful but chilly day as Kamui burst out of the forest and into Koga camp. Everyone was up by now and the camp was bustling with activity. A few pups were rolling around in the dirt, tugging on each other's tails and playfully batting their friends on the head. A few of the elder Kogas were sunbathing on some rocks by the river, and the warriors were trading battle tactics. Kamui felt very proud to be their leader. All eyes turned to watch him as he went up the porch steps of the main house. He sat down and tossed his head back, letting a long drawn-out howl rip from his throat. This was the "gathering call", a signal for all Kogas to come back to camp for a meeting. Kamui stopped howling and waited for everyone to arrive.

Samoth heard the summoning call from Kamui san, and Samoth walked over to the house to hear what Kamui had to say about all this, and there where menny dogs here, he had never been good with crouds, Samoth began to be dissi but shaked his head so the dissiness got out of his system, Samoth wanted to hear what Kamui had of new news about his friend Tachiim, and he stood in the far back, where the shadows reached him, it was cooler there to stand too.

Joumae, having only just re-entered the Koga camp, was perplexed when she heard the call. Hadn't she just seen Kamui in the forest only a moment a go? Regardless, she padded over to stand beside her comrades and waited patiently to hear what he had to say.

Akane appeared from the side of the house and hopped up onto the porch next to Kamui. The Elites were nearby anyway and arrived swiftly, but Akane's watchful eye noticed that not all had fallen in line. "Kitanai..." He hissed to himself, his expression showing a great frustration. Did he have to belt him into submission himself to make him obey orders? The Second in Command allowed himself a sly growl before stiffening his lip and sitting down as regally as his Leader was, "Beautiful day, Kamui - a sure sign of things to come." Akane spoke calmly, eyes front to keep watch of those arriving.
"Psst, Joumae-san," Mio slunk through the crowd to her side, "I haven't seen Miu all night. Rumor has it she ran off with Kitanai, you know anything about it?" Her voice was hushed as she scanned the dogs around her.

Kamui favored Akane with a brief smile, then turned back to look at the new arrivals.
"Beautiful day, Kamui - a sure sign of things to come."
The Koga leader glanced at the powder blue sky and had to agree. There was not a cloud in sight, and the sun was shining down. "Yes, it looks like a good omen." Kamui paused for another moment to allow some last-minute stragglers to get in, then he got up and began speaking to the crowd in front of him.
"Kogas --- today I bring you news." He decided not to say whether it was good news, since that would most likely be debatable to some. "Raikou, leader of the Igas, came onto Koga territory earlier this morning." Kamui was interrupted by a chorus of angry barks from the men and anxious murmurs from the women. "SILENCE!" Kamui's bellow immediately quieted the assembled. "Raikou did not come here to fight. As you probably already know, the Igas are no longer our only enemy. Former General Tachiim has betrayed us, and he's gathering Iga recruits as we speak." More discontented murmurs ensued, which were halted as Kamui continued his speech. "It's foolish to fight two wars at once... which is why there is now a momentary ceasefire between us and the Iga clan."

and Samoth was listening intently to Kamuis words, not showing anny signs of fury or happyness just a stone cold mask without emotions, he was Kamuis, and not even his friend Tachiim could get him to betray his own leader, so he listned intently at the wisefull words that Kamui was saying.

Joumae shook her head at Miu's question. "No, sorry, I didn't hear anything. Hopefully they haven't gotten themselves in any trouble." Though just guessing by the look on Akane's face, Kitanai's in deep, she thought, focusing back on Kamui. She listened curiously to Kamui's words, more shocked than horrified when he revealed the truth about their cease fire with the Igas. As the new general of the border guard, it meant a lot of work on her part to make sure that the rest of the flamboyant group obeyed Kamui's order. I wonder if Akane's ready to blow his top, Joumae chuckled to herself.

Akane watched with a vile sneer on his face as there was a mixed reaction from the crowd. When the noise levels esculated, he stood up and dropped down onto the step below the porch and started trotting up and down below and in front Kamui. His head was low with his ears pinned, like he was targetting potential prey. The noise makers took this as a warning and quickly hushed their voices. Once Akane was satisfied that there were no naysayers challenging Kamui's words, his pace slowed to a stop.
Mio was about to reply to Joumae when Kamui's words boomed through the camp, and her mouth hung agape in sheer shock. A cease fire? With the Iga? How could this possibly end well? She hoped that she would not be drafted into war due to this new threat - her and her sister were certainly not built for it.

Kamui waited patiently while Akane coaxed the crowd to silence, although he was feeling a little nervous inside. His teeth clenched together in a tight line and waited for the slight nervousness to boil down before he spoke again. "Understand that just because this is a ceasefire, it doesn't mean we have to work together with the Igas. We just have to turn our sights to a different enemy for the time being." There was a brief pause as Kamui waited for any objections. There was none, so the Koga leader continued. "Tachiim's army is getting bigger, so our training schedule will be more rigorous. Traitors will not be tolerated whatsoever. If you see an old friend of yours fighting on the side of the rebels... kill him. There is no room for treachery here." Kamui narrowed his eyes menacingly, his voice dead serious.

Samoth was in the shadows, where nobody saw him, and he jumped on the nearest branch, and jumped from branch to branch, and around the Koga house, until he was just above it, Samoth was so black, that nobody saw him, and he sneaked into the house,in the turmolt that was, and wated for Kamui to enter the house himself, Samoth stood in the shadows.

Joumae flinched a little under Akane's glare, but she understood his need for being harsh. Kamui and Raikou most have had some conversation! she chuckled to herself. Turning to Mio, she saw the fear in his eyes and tried to flash the Koga female a comforting look. "We'll be alright in the end, Mio," she said calmly, not sure whom she was speaking to. "If I'll make you feel better, why don't I help you look for Miu and that brat?"

Akane rolled his eyes as he heard the paw-falls of someone entering the Koga house from the rear entrance. He walked up to Kamui and turned his head from the crowd to say something in Kamui's ear, "There's someone in the house. No guesses as to who... do excuse me for a few moments." He walked calmly inside and spotted Samoth in one of the corners. He then growled warningly, "What makes you exempt from the Leader's speech? Get out there with the others before I drag you out." His tone was impatient, especially since Samoth was indeed close to the traitor causing all these problems.
Mio forced a smile at Joumae's attempt to comfort her, "Best not to go looking for them just yet... It would arouse suspicion. Everyone's going to be playing detective now to make sure no more of us go wondering off." She shrugged, "Miu's sensible anyway. I bet she'll pop up somewhere and be non the wiser!"

Kamui had also heard the sound of someone entering the Koga house from behind, and when Akane excused himself, he replied with a simple nod. "I think the next step is to just move on. Forget the traitor, but never forgive. Joumae will replace him as the border guard general." Kamui glanced briefly at Joumae before dipping his head and turning around to enter the house.

"my words are for Kamui, and only Kamui, i stand under him, and i will not stand under a second in command", Samoth said with a smirk," i am an KamuiĀ“s spy, i will only Tell Kamui, Akane i dont stand under you", Samoth said, and melted back into the blackness, and only his blue eyes where shining in the daknesss, he loved this darkness.

ooc: Might want to change what you've posted trevegg - Akane is in charge of the Elites, so if Samoth is an Elite, he is indeed under Akane and what he has said is a death sentence!
